BRETT DAWSON
Our founder Brett was inspired by his love of wine to start Turton Wines as an online business in 2008, with the help of Kate & Rob round the kitchen table and the rest is history!  Brett still leads the wine buying with the input and help of the team and is very hands on with the business finances.

KATE ASPDEN
Co-owner Kate keeps a track of the day to day operations of the business and is involved in all things NEW! The Slaughtered House bar revamp and exciting plans for the shop, new products, events and pulling together a great team to serve you wine. She can frequently be found flying from shop to bar like a whirlwind making things look on point, bouncing ideas with the team and gathering inspiration for the next big project.

ROB MANOCK
Have you tried turning it off and on again?  Our resident Mr IT and co-owner, Rob makes sure we are running smoothly.  Turton Wines has moved on in leaps and bounds over the last few years and Rob has lead the technology drive online, shop and bar.  Any issues and Robs first response is 'Reboot'! 
ISOBEL DARLINGTON

Joining the team in August 2021 to manage social media & marketing for Turton Wines and The Slaughtered House. Izzy loves to use her photography & graphic design skills on our social media and website, so you’ll often find her snapping away in the shop & bar. Izzy is also WSET 2 qualified.
JIM WILLIAMS

Starting at the beginning of 2022, Jim joined the team as Retail & Hospitality Manager and is WSET 2 Qualified.  Jim comes with a wealth of industry experience and a local Bolton boy at heart. Very hands on to continue the smooth running of the shop and bar. Catch him in the shop mid week and the bar at weekends, a warm welcome awaits you!
